SUCCESS STORIES
WatchMaker: greater precision with fewer moving parts
Many organizations use manual processes to create and manage custom system images. Besides being time consuming and labor intensive, this often introduces errors and inconsistencies into builds. Plus3 IT is currently managing a customer environment with our open source provisioning tool, WatchMaker, and is importing the services that were built prior to our provisioning framework implementation. With this framework, we have simplified the process of adding new accounts and provided self-service account provisioning for application owners. We make all documentation self-service and accessible, along with the code, in the client’s GitHub repository.
Reference Architectures: the cloud adoption starter pack
When moving to the cloud, recreating your organization’s existing architecture shouldn’t mean reinventing the wheel. That’s why we apply cloud adoption best practices, such as designing, implementing, and promoting reference architectures, to enhance and accelerate adoption and security compliance. Plus3 IT’s Simple Storage Server (S3) reference architecture and use of native encryption features have been authorized to meet mission data level security requirements for production workloads of a DoD client.
